Do I need an HDB permit for hacking?
Yes. Most structural hacking in HDB flats needs a permit, and we'll advise exactly what's required for your scope. Non-structural work like tile or fixture removal usually doesn't. We help you lodge the permit if needed.
How long does a typical HDB hacking job take?
A single wall is usually same-day. A full flat hack for reinstatement typically runs 2–4 days depending on size and scope. We'll give you a realistic timeline in your quote.
Is debris disposal included in the price?
Yes. All quotes include bagging, removal, and disposal at NEA-licensed sites. You won't get a 'disposal surcharge' at the end.
Do you work on weekends?
Yes, subject to building/HDB noise hours. Most HDB estates permit hacking Mon–Sat 9am–6pm; we work around those rules and keep to them strictly.
What about dust and noise control?
Every job starts with dust sheeting and floor protection. We use vacuum-assisted tools where possible and clear as we go, so your neighbours stay happy.
Can I get a quote without a site visit?
For small jobs, yes. WhatsApp a few photos and the rough measurements and we'll quote within a few hours. For full reinstatement or anything structural, a quick site visit is usually needed.
